As the weeks and months have flown by, it has become ever more difficult to simply express how much I love my man. He is so much more than I ever thought I would have, or even knew to dream of. He is smart, capable, hard working, handsome, funny, cheerful, honest, humble, willing, caring, good, sensitive, and full of love for me and the Lord...
He says things like, "you have a beautiful mind."
How did I get so blessed as to have a man that compliments and loves and values me like this?
I am so, so blessed by him.
And then he goes beyond his "everyday" and sends me this.
"Tonight, as I laid on a bean bag, holding the woman I love more than any other person on this planet, the woman who will in less than three months be my adoring wife, I decided to write down a reminder for the years ahead. For the hard times that have a habit of causing blindness and forgetfulness. The dark days if I have any. The times when pride keeps me far from my best friend and lover. A note to myself to remind me, should I ever forget, what makes me the luckiest man I know- having my precious Sara, forever by my side, as my beautiful wife.
I grew up on the foothills of some of the most beautiful mountains in the world. People have traveled around the globe to see them. People have lost their breath over there soaring, blue, snow capped peaks. But living near them, always seeing them, is what made it easy to forget how absolutely beautiful they are. To go many, many days and never take notice. Their beauty never ceases. I just simply ceased to take the time to take a good, long, hard look. And so for me their beauty was almost lost.
Take the time... a saying. Three words, containing exactly 11 letters, and said mostly by people who have nearly run out of it. Though they may try, "taking time" for them is a cliche and cruel phrase filled with regret. But to us it is a warning. TAKE THE TIME!!!! Take it... because if you don't, someone or something will.
So, John, take the time to notice. Take a good, long, hard look and see the beauty that has always been there. There was nothing sweeter before her and there is nothing sweeter now. Short and absolutely filled with the greatest things a person could have. She is full of kindness. And if she is being mean... well... you probably owe her an apology. Trust her, because she has never given you a reason not to. If she isn't funny to you, then well... you've probably ruined her. She was funny to the core when you married her! So you had better fix that! Blue like those blue mountains, her eyes will melt you. When you married her they shined like diamonds, so if they look tired now, they probably are. Go hold your wife. She needs to be held. Hold her up tight aginst you, and remember how the touch of her skin would make your heart race. John, take the time to think of what you would be without your absolutely stunning bride. You love her "more infinity". You always will!"

He made me cry.
I do not deserve the man the Lord has given me, and I am so full of thankfulness for him.
Hannah read this to us awhile back. It is so sweet and precious! We were all teary eyed... <3
