I am His, and He is mine

Let me know redemption wins, let me know the struggle ends. That you can mend a heart that's frail and torn. I want to know a song can rise from the ashes of a broken life. And all that's dead inside can be reborn...

I remember, almost two years ago now, hearing this song and playing it over and over as tears just poured out... it was everything my heart was crying.

I love that He brought me from there, that edge. He let me know. I love that He is my redeemer, and I am His work, for all my life.

No thought.

..."for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things... Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof..."

Mini-me.

This kid... Well, she intrigues and amuses, that's for sure.
On our little date yesterday, picking out pumpkins, I was silently laughing to my amused self over her. Sitting next to me, drinking coffee SHE bought, and talking more maturely than most of the 16 year olds I've heard lately. She is such an opinionated little person, with her head either in a book or spouting off loudly what she learned from one, she gives me a very different perspective of what I was like as a child! Sometimes she goes on, and on... (I still do this.) And its hard to listen. But if you do, you don't miss these tidbits...
Driving by a homeless man on the corner, holding a sign that said "homeless Vet, anything helps"-
"...that is so sad, i didn't know veterinarians could be homeless! Don't they make a lot of money in the war?? Oh wait, not veterinarians! Veterans! *giggle*"
And I just laughed and kept on listening to her opinions on veterans.

Homesick

Seriously, so miserable with this situation. I cannot wait for the next 18 days to be OVER.
I need my husband.
This moving thing is really hard for me, but still, no matter where we live, he is my home forever now. Always. And now I know what all these lovey married people were talking about... I belong nowhere but by his side.
My heart literally aches not for a place, but just for him.
I'm so homesick for my husband :(
