a NEW thing

Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert. Isaiah 43:18, 19
A new creation, a new thing, a new morning, new mercies... What a loving God I serve. Do you know anyone like that? Willing to give so much newness and life? Um, no. Only him. As I've made obvious in recent posts, this month has been NEW. All the Lord and his strength, because I... I'm kinda a wimp. A big one. I don't like difficult things, though by the love of the Lord I am learning to do them. By his strength. I have in the past just chosen to take the path that hurts the least, in many ways... Just so you know, that is a horrible idea. Don't ever do it. Take the path he leads, and if you dont have absolute peace about a certain path, sit down and STOP walking. Do not take that road, for the sale of your own future heartache when the Lord has to turn you around and make you walk all the way back, after possibly doing damage and putting yourself in danger. Anyways, just don't do it. But none of that is what this post is about. This is about newness of life! And as I am learning to walk with him, I'm experiencing that very thing. I have been praying about moving to Washington, and asking the Lord for peace if it his will. Over the last month I've prayed... And waited. And more and more other thoughts have dropped away, til I've been left with an assurance of him, a knowledge of his presence in my life, a thrill that I have his rest again. I have wanted so badly to know that I'm on his path of righteousness... But I was on a major detour, and it took me a long Tim to get back to his path. Now that I let go of all the hindrances, I really don't want to add in anything not of him. And he's so faithful! He isn't letting me down as I've been seeking him. I started feeling confident of his plan, sensing peace about moving here, but there's been so many physical details that needed to work out. But if it's his plan, he can change them right? And guess what. He is. Hopefully by next week I will be writing quite a little post on here, telling you all the details of how amazing he is. So far, I'm kind of in awe, to be truthful. But some of it is only half done... And since I want to write it all in one post, I need to wait to share details, however difficult that may be. But believe me, it's amazing. Tomorrow I am going home to get my things, do some paperwork, and say goodbye to montana and all it holds. I have to be back here again bu next monday, since i am also bringing my awesome friend to keep me company, and she has work tuesday, and i have a job interview (shhh!). God is full of newness and goodness and mercy and grace. I am in awe. It isn't without trial, for sure. It's taking choices and obedience. But I am filled with overwhelming joy to know I'm right with him again... To know my relationship is unhindered. If you don't know that, fix it. If you can't fix it, start praying that he will... Cuz no matter what it costs it is beyond worth it in every way. You won't regret it. I'm so excited to see what he has for the future... I can't believe he loves me this much. He is so good to me!
